Mining has resumed in the area and access from Panamint Valley needed to be improved. I suspect the waterfall in Goler Wash washes out periodically no matter what. As for Mengel Pass I doubt it gets...

Nice trip report. Brought memories of our last SMB group run to Striped Butte and beyond. Mengel Pass looks about the same. Going up or down it had serious pucker factor for me. We had 6 vans going...
