FWIW - Nothing makes the trans temps skyrocket faster than backup up a trailer. Combination of tall reverse, no lockup function in reverse, and the radiator basically sucking up hot air when backing...

For trans temp, I prefer a good old analog gauge...

For trans temp, I prefer a good old analog gauge with a sender in the test port. This give you a good average fluid temp and should correspond to pan temp. The OBD channel pulls from the valve body...
