A quality shop scanner can read the ABS codes to determine which sensor is causing the fault.

On non-Roll Stability vans, the sensor is stuck into the top of the differential pumpkin, nearly touching the tone ring, which is partially in oil so in slings oil onto the sensor while you drive.
