My wheelbase is almost 2" longer due to a rear spring upgrade. And it sits about 3" higher than stock. The stock drive shaft is fine. I was worried at first, but so far so good.

QuadVan changes the tailshaft to the Ford 4x4 version. At least on the 4r100. Not sure about the Torqueshift.

QuadVan now sells DIY 4x4 conversion kits.
