I always felt like the numbers Banks claimed for the P.I. head V10 (2000+) were understated. I do a lot of trips with either my dad (5.4L van, stock) when I'm almost 2.5x his gross weight, and I can...

Re: 6.8L V10 exhaust and intake...

I figure this is mostly true only at wide open throttle, or near WOT
Another factor is the throttle position sensor, and this is one of the primary parameters the transmission uses to...

That is some nice clean work. Is it ceramic coated?

THe Y-pipe is a good upgrade.

I did the Banks setup, but did not remove the cat. It isn't a restriction, and I like being to breath clean air...

Re: 6.8L V10 exhaust and intake...

For Cat-back I don't see any real advantage with Banks. I had a MagnaFlow on my last van (5.8L) and my brother has it on his Expedition. It was a good improvement on both rigs.
Any...

Re: 6.8L V10 exhaust and intake...

For 2wd, you want Class C motorhome. For 4wd the Class C headers won't fit unless the T-case is clocked. I actually don't know if the 4x4 pickup stuff will fit the van (I'm sure it fits the motor......

Re: 6.8L V10 exhaust and intake...

QuadVan says AFE is worth the upgrade. They actually dyno tested it on a van.

Skip the Gibson headers. They are too short. If you want headers, go with Banks. Otherwise you are better off with...
