I do wish I had the TorqueShift. I haven't had any problems with my 4r100, but the Torqueshift is all around a better package IMO. The grade braking feature is really nice, especially with the V10...

All the V10's from '00 to '04 got the 4R100. The '97-'99 vans got the predecessor, the E4OD. Essentially the same basic architecture, but the 4R100 got some updates to make it stronger to be able to...

Yup. I have the 4R100.

I believe the stock temp sender, which the PCM reads (and then sends to your scangauge or whatever) is in the valve body.

I have a Banks trans temp gauge, and it reads...

Even with my 40,000 GVW TRU COOL MAX, I will see sustained temps of 200F when the outside temp is near 100F and I'm in the hills/mountains.

When I'm towing, I've had it around 225 for 15-30...
