Bars-Leak Rear Main Seal Repair actually does work. I've put it in a couple customer's car because they were not able to afford seal replacement. Both vehicles were still leak free last I saw them.

Use a transmission jack if you have access to one.

Did it die suddenly? Or lose power first. If it lost power first before it stalled, its most likely the fuel pump. If it's never been replaced, you are on borrowed time (the updated Ford version...
