Depending on what unit you have, there may be an onboard fuse or fuse reset button that may have been tripped by having live breakers when plugging in.

Right, but just make sure your breaker switches are off when plugging in or disconnecting from shore power, then switch your breakers on after you’re connected. Less of a chance frying...
