Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

The cracking kinda looks like age cracks to me, and it looks like maybe some chunking. A set of cracks running around the edge of the tread can also be a sign of overloading, or under inflating. You...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Yikes. Did you notice the age of the tires (it's stamped on the sidewall; it's a code with year and week of manufacture, but can't remember what order). Looks like a lot of cracking for two year old...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

I have a friend with a 6.0 (not sure if 04 or 06) and his wouldn't start in Mammoth last week; we thought maybe the MAF or the EGR. Finally got it going but covered Mammoth with black smoke as well.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Great observation. In home brewing folks often use PET plastic carboys. It's standard practice to avoid using anything that scratches the insides because those little crevices allow bacteria to hide...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Brilliant! Especially the mesh under the penthouse bed. I have some spots where that would work well.

Where'd you get the webbing?

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Nice!

I enjoyed fried smelt (deep fried) in an Acadian restaurant in Nova Scotia.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

This FAQ was designed for the motorcycles in CA, but applies here. Not sure if it's current; something I found when modifying lights on my street bike. I haven't seen anything about brightness per se...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Those could get you a ticket in CA. But they look great, and probably could light a stadium :b5:

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

No more than two auxiliary lights; you can have more "offroad" lights but they must be covered. The aux lights must be less than 42". What I dunno is whether anyone gets away with characterizing...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

I finally got around to putting bedliner, Monstaliner, over my aging penthouse roof. It had developed some crazing and was getting UV damage on the gelcoat, even though I cover it while not in use...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

I've wondered about that stuff. Is it at all useful to apply over well-used and already rusty metal? No way I could get back to bare metal under the van, but even if I can slow some corrosion down it...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

I wired in some stuff; been meaning to get around to this for a while.

Got a HarborFreight 400W inverter and put in wiring from the battery to beneath the passenger seat so I can easily use it to...
