.....For some reason I had no issues cutting the roof off of my van to install a PH, but I've yet to molest any of the factory interior plastic trim........

In those cases where I run the main inverter (a standard SMB build) I generally throw that breaker to the fridge off so I'm not "inverting" to keep it running. On shore power it doesn't matter cause...

I'm wired pretty much as shown in your "after" diagram above......although I don't have any GFCI breakers between shore power and the charger. Not sure what benefit they would provide but probably...

My setup is essentially the same as REFs as well...and I never really need shore power.

How many watts of Inverter power do you need?

Do you have the charge wizard option for the Intellipower? Why they charge extra for this is beyond me....what a joke.....It's actually a "dumbpower...
