I had a USB port with a blue LED in the rear of...

I had a USB port with a blue LED in the rear of the van...kept me up at night......that one is now mounted under the dash.

They have those combo receptacles at Home Depot...

They have those combo receptacles at Home Depot and Lowes...

A few comments.....USB voltage is 5V......the original USB specification is for something like 1A or less.....although it's commonplace...
