Motovan....have you replaced your vapor canister? I have this issue but it's not too bad and somewhat intermittent. Once in a while it clicks off the pump.

Popped grommets in the holes.....simple.


The holes are 1" diameter and the metal is 1/8" thick. With powder coat they are about .140"...

The replacement part I used is a Dorman 924-5406 shift boot for Kenworth........bolted right up....about $30 from Amazon,...

Yes, when properly set up the solar controller is a smart charger.....BTW wouldn't hurt to check the absorption and float voltage settings in your controller and make sure that they match the battery...

Did you use a come-along?

I use a come-along and short 2x4's laying in the tracks in place of the helper springs for safety.
