Glad I could help, you would think SMB would know how to install. Unfortunately, anything that connects to the battery is usually shown as a direct connect to the battery in their installation...

Have you checked that shunt is between the battery and all the charging sources, The current has to go through shunt to be read. If it is on the wrong side of the shunt it won't be seen.
