GFCI Tripping

Greg,

I have a Xantrex Freedom HF 1800 inverter/charger.

The buzzing stops when I am in charge mode. Still think a bad ground somewhere? Really appreciate your help.

Checked all connections back to the breaker panel, all seemed fine. GFCI is still buzzing, plugged into shore power and as soon as the inverter turned on, buzzing went away and all seems normal....

Thanks for the additional tips, we are using the van this weekend, but will dig back in next week and see if I can't find the problem.

Thanks guys for your help, pulled the GFI and disconnected the downstream outlets. All worked fine, started testing each outlet, then the GFI began to "buzz". Pulled the downstream outlet wiring out,...

Thanks to you both for the suggestions. I will pull the GFCI and remove the downstream wiring and report back. Dave, I always keep a voltage detector with me and test prior to working on anything....

I have tried the search, did all of what was recommended in other posts and am now at a loss. On our recent trip I plugged into shorepower prior to departing, all was fine, charged the house battery....
