I'd guess your still correct about running a 1500 watt heater element. That's big amps at 12v...about twice as much as my microwave. But I'm thinking that if the system has a tank, the flat plate...

I'm trying to figure that out. The picture shows the flat plate. Is there a AC
heating element and pump in the box? That place sells Espar stuff but maybe they
make high amp electric heaters for...
