Yep, I do understand. Myself, I have my separator automatically dissable itself during start up. I figure if it cranks hard in the morning it somewhat tests the starting system. Your van has all...

Why don't you want the voltage sensing model Greg? You plan on cutting out the alternator charge and replace it with an inverted smart charge?
