I called GMAC and talked with an guy about a quote and told them I was looking at purchasing a new Sportsmobile but before I got into it with him I tried to nail him down to the lifted vehicle issue....

So I'm looking at my proof of insurance card and it says nothing about Ford. It shows make and model as Sportsmobile. Don't know what the DMV says though, but I'm kinda thinking it says Ford on it...

Don't know about Farmers but Progresisive told me anything off road (non maintained) was not covered. Now this was in 2005 and I never followed up on it. GMAC at the time said the same thing but...

I have yet to find a company that covers off road travel (at a reasonable price). I found that even most tow insurance Companies such as AAA consider off pavement or non-maintained roads as a no tow...

Well I contacted 3 different State Farm agents and my personal agent came up with this:
827.02 per year if driven over 8K miles per year and 677.98 if the mileage is under 8,000. This is for a 2006...
