The skid plate under it blocks most of it. I had another tube mounted in the same spot not much smaller than the tank that had some recovery gear and it really never got hit by much of anything....

OK here ya go. The night shots do light it up a bit. I do plan to do some black paint work. Maybe undercoating.

I just had the smaller SMB tank mounted behind the rear axle tucked up along the frame. I did have them mount a skid plate on it but it will probably just help keep mud off it. You can just barely...
