Yes you are correct the 15w40 will be thicker than the 5w30... I run all my other cars on 10w40 and it is fine so 15w40 will just be not so good under -15°C but as this is rare where I live I might...

Didn't quite know where to post this... but guessed here might be ok...

I have the opportunity to get some bulk engine oil for my vehicles. I as you can guess I am unsure about the 5.7 Chevy...
