Nah, once you have bedding on them they're fine. Thanks to a remodeling snafu, we had to sleep on airbeds for about 4 months when we moved into our current house. Cats and beds survived just fine.

The cats have not been informed about this camping thing, yet, and we've never tried them in a tent. The issue is that one of them gets such bad separation...
