The new sprinters have what they call the M47 Alternator for Fuel Economy. I think it is somehow controlled to limit output during certain conditions. Any idea if the Sterling unit would have any...

Looks like to install Alt to Battery charger in RV cabin Wiring must go from Alt then to Stirling then back to Engine battery. Is that true?

Never heard of this Stirling "Thing" before. Interesting. Will the 210 Amp unit work safely with the 250 Amp alternator.

I thought I had read somewhere that the larger Alternator might sacrifice 1-2 MPG. Seemed high

If I understand correctly the new 4 cyl can be had with 200, 220 or 250 Amp alternator. With fuel economy being a high priority what would be recommended? Would a 400 AH battery bank be Bulk...
