Three times I've had to have an injector replaced on the road. When not under warranty it was $1900-2000 and 1-5 days, under warranty still took the 5 days. The time may hurt more than the money....

New factory injectors are better than older remanufactured ones. The new design injectors have a relief cut into the spool so the spool doesn't get stuck to the seat (like a wet glass getting stuck...
