That outlet maybe ok, you did get a green light after a couple of tries. But, neither that outlet nor any other standard household outlet mayl be enough to power the StarCool.

A normal household circuit is 15 amps. A 30 amp circuit must have a different plug to prevent overloading the standard circuits. If the outlet looks like a standard outlet, it is not a 30 amp...
