Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

I crawled under my SMB ---- Why? you might ask.

The van developed a mild vibration and rumbling noise under certain condition.
It was fine cruising down the road; it was fine while...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Installed 'new' FICM with Atlas 40 tune. New air filter at same time. I'll bet I could do it in less than 2 hours next time. Don't you just love a learning curve?

Seems quicker off the line,...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Finally pulled the FICM out. It is still good, but I want to upgrade and keep this one as an emergency spare. I couldn't order the new unit until I proved to myself that I could pull this one out.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Replaced the VSM (Vehicle Security Module). The old one started randomly locking/unlocking the power door locks - really makes you jump in the middle of the night! Pulled fuse F2.23 from the fuse box...

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Actually, since I'm changing coolant and radiator hoses, I thought I'd remove the radiator to do the belt. More access is more better!
