I like the Michelins, but prefer the LTX A/T. Essentially the same tire, but with a slightly more aggresive tread design. Durable - after ~40K miles, they are about 50-60% gone, even with thousands...

Running a spare that is 1" larger than the other tires (or 1" smaller) might be a problem if you have a Limited Slip Differential with clutch plates. It will be like constantly slipping a clutch,...

When Salem-Kroger upgraded my van to 4wd, they put a new ID plate that lists the new tire size. Costco can deal with that.

Doesn't SMB do somethng similar?
