Some backup fuel is never a bad idea, in case your fuel tank gets punctured on a rock.

Reminds me that some fuel tank repair stuff isn't a bad idea. It's kind of a epoxy putty that you knead...

I own "hardware" but the consequences of getting caught with it in Mexico means I won't take it down there. I do own two stun guns which I will probably take when I go.

You mentioned having a Hi Lift and a winch. If you haven't used both, practice BEFORE you go. Learning how to use them in a stuck situation is very stressful. A Pul Pall would be useful to if you're...
