'04F-250Super Duty 4x4, a donor for '06 E-350?

I have first right of refusal on a '04 F-250 Super Duty 4x4 with blown motor.
This to convert my '06 E-350 Super Duty 6.0. To 4wd.

Considering the lift on the F-250, has 35x12.5x17 tires etc would it be right to assume I'd have most of what I need to do the conversion? I do know I can pick up any and all additional needed parts but am interested to know if I can, with modification use the donor's lift, springs, t-case, running gear etc.
Would I use the front and rear axle to keep the ratios the same etc?
Would I need to swap out the transmission?

I'm using a rear leaf spring from an 04 F250 so the rear spring will work fine. I believe Quadvan uses exactly what are getting from your F250. You have front leafs so you might want to check with ujoint offroad - they have a kit that uses leaf springs both front and rear and uses a lot of F250/F350 stuff so customers can get as much stuff as possible from junk yards.

That's the way I'm headed kit from U-Joint and use as much as I can off the donor.Storm season in Florida has slowed me down but hope to start cutting in the next month or two.

Yup. It's a good match for doing the U-joint kit.

Trans does not need to be swapped. Only the tail shaft. Yours has likely lived an easier life, considering the tuner that was run on that truck.

Swapping the rear axle is probably a good option, since not only will that match gear ratios, it will match wheel bolt patterns as well, and give you a full float.

You might want to check with Chris @ UJoint about those lifted leafs, and make sure you order the appropriate kit to work with them.

Unfortunately that axle isn't really compatible with your an because of RSC.

You would need this kit:

At that point, you're in almost the cost of a fully installed QuadVan conversion.

I know about this kit. But, its cost + shipping cost to my country = an apartment with a sea view))) Therefore, I would like someone to help me with the installation of this bridge and leaf springs. And why won't rsc work?

You need the crossover steering, so that the rotation of the steering wheel sensor matches what the computer expects to see from yaw-sensor.

Considering your scenario, you should really consider the ExoVans conversion kit. It utilizes the newer axles (2011+) which which are much better axles (brakes, bearings, etc) is a better suspension setup IMO (I prefer coil springs) and will already work with RSC.

It'll probably end up costing less too. Even though you'd need a newer more expensive axle, you can buy a used axle that isn't modified, and less extra parts overall.
