1994 Dodge Ram 350 1 Ton 2WD Van with a SPORTSMOBILE POP-TOP Camper Conversion. Loaded with options to include 318 CI Fuel Injected V8, Automatic Overdrive Transmission, Front and Rear Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Tilt Steering, Cruise Control, AM-FM-Tape Radio and more! This Sportsmobile has 157,000 original miles.
This Dodge Ram Sportsmobile Van Conversions runs and drives GREAT! The Fuel Injected 318 starts immediately and pulls great. The transmission shifts properly and brakes stop properly. All the emissions equipment including the catalytic converters are still present. The tires are a matched set of Firestone Radials mounted on the original wheels with the original wheel centers and trim rings. The spare tire is included. All the gauges, power windows, power locks, cruise control and other options work properly. The A/C needs a can of 134 Freon after about 3 months.
The exterior of the van is completely original paint and never involved in an accident. Overall the van is very solid with only some very light surface rust showing. The front grill and bumper are in good condition along with the hood and front doors. The side doors and rear doors are in good condition with pop out windows and the original Sportsmobile screens still installed. The propane system under the van is complete. The windshield and side glass are in good condition with no cracks or chips. All the doors open and close properly along with the pop top. All the weatherstripping is complete, soft and in good condition.
The Sportsmobile Pop-Top Roof is in good condition and works properly. The front SWIVEL bucket seats are in good condition. A second set of bucket seats in the exact color match are included with the van. The original front carpet is good with a little bit of soiling. The dash, gauges, climate control, original AM-FM-Cassette radio work properly and are in nice condition. The tilt steering column is nice and tight. The interior part of van conversion needs work. A previous owner from whom I acquired the van started an interior upgrade that never happened do to their passing. The interior will need cabinet repair/replacement of the sink and cook top cabinet and a replacement cabinet for the rear wardrobe. The original gas burner cook top and sink are included with the van. The cabinet for the Dometic refrigerator is complete and correct along with the original Dometic refrigerator. The camper part of the interior includes the original sink, gas cook top, rear air conditioning system, upper bed in the Pop-Top area, fold out gaucho bed in the van area, propane gas heater, window screens, DC power invertor, water tank rear A/C unit and more. The Pop Top conversion fiberglass top is in excellent condition with good rubber seals. The shore power cord is with the van. The flooring material is the original vinyl installed by Sportsmobile and has shrunk over the years along the edges and could stand to be replaced.
