2002 Ford E250 Pleasure-Way Traverse pop-top camper van. 76,300 miles. Similar to a Sportsmobile RB50, GTRV Westy, or VW Westfalia layout. Sleeps 4 (two down, two in pop up) and seats 5. Has a built-in 2 burner propane stove, refrigerator, stainless steel sink with fresh and gray water tanks, ducted propane heater, microwave and more. Built on Ford Econoline E-250. Has a hitch.
A fairly rare pop-top camper van that fits in standard garage. No storage fees required!
It's registered and titled as a passenger vehicle (station wagon) so you can drive or park it anywhere a regular car is allowed (i.e., no "motor home" plates). Easily fits in a standard parking space, and allows you to camp in just about any national/state/local park due to being under 20 feet.
We are second owners and bought straight from a dealer when the original owners did a trade in. The only item we never used is the sink water drain. We used the water from the faucet, just not to drain down the sink. It's been maintained, has a few small quirks like the sink drain that a DIYer could address. The two captain chairs were recently professionally re-upholstered for maximum driving comfort. The clear roof coating is flaking so that needs to be recoated in the future. We had the oil changed and the drive belt replaced this week. Mechanic review this week suggests spark plug change (not misfiring, just for preventative), coolant changed, brake fluid flush (tests 4% water content) and radiator hoses changed (no current issues, just preventative). This is NOT 4 wheel drive but we have had several other owners tell us they converted theirs to 4WD on this high sitting model. Current tire tread is 10/32 front and 6/32 rear. The interior and upholstery are in very good condition. Exterior is in good condition with a few bumps and dings. This version of the Traverse came with the E-250 chassis and the bigger Triton engine, providing lots of power to climb hills. A Tow hitch was also added and a Primus IQ proportional braking system (previous owner installed, we didn't use it to tow anything).
Currently located near Sacramento, CA.
I can't reply to all "is it still available". If the ad is up, it's available.
