I have been talking about selling my van for the past 2 1/2 years. It is the camper I always wanted. It no longer is not getting used for what I designed it for.

No rear A/C, forced air heater, cooktop, water heater, Propane, on board air compressor or Gray and black water holding tanks.
I am the second owner of this van. I have been a van owner since 1968.
At 72 years old, I am no longer chasing board surfing waves in Mexico.
I purchased it in April 2017 with 145K miles on it. I have added 35K trouble free miles.
The previous owner was a neighbor and he kept meticulous records of all milage, fuel consumption and destinations, all repairs and maintenance, original window sticker and sales brochures. He had the Quigley 4x4 system, Transfer Flow fuel tank, vinyl flooring and paneling installed before taking possession.
The P.O. was an avid kite/wind surfer and the van was setup with racks for boards, masts and sails, and used the van for travel between La Paz, Mexico and Bend, Oregon. All of his miles were “freeway” miles. This van was not used as his camper or as a daily driver.
My record keeping is nowhere near as thorough as his but I have been good on oil changes and lubrications.
My goal was to have a Baja ready vehicle, with a lower center of gravity and tons of elbow room to explore isolated beaches. Mandatory was to have ample fresh water (42 gallons), a large full-time fridge, and to have the convenience of a microwave oven. All my other cooking was done outside.
Since I have owned this van, I had the Fiberine 24” top installed,
built out the interior, and installed the solar charging system,
installed new front wheel hub bearings ($500 each from Quigley)
Replaced the windshield due to stone chip/crack, and new wiper blades.
Replaced the spark plugs, Installed K&N cold air filter system,
Replaced the emissions evap charcoal canister, new fuel cap.
I had transfer case and front and rear differential oils changed @148K.
Cooling system flushed and fresh coolant installed.
Engine oil, filter and lube was just done July 2023.
The Brake system flushed and Hawk LTS brake pads installed April 2023.
The Front end was inspected and alignment performed August 2023
Someone recently asked me if I would sell it to a friend. Yes I would,
and I also would not hesitate to hop in drive it off to Cabo San Lucas tomorrow.

A current passing CA Emissions test will be provided at the time of sale.
The vehicle is located in Orange County, California 92627
Current concerns:
There are a few gravel paint chips and some very shallow dents on the rear right side possibly from a blown windsurf board and sail? No other dents or repaired Bondo fillers.
Often, when the dash fresh air vent is activated, there is some warm, not hot, air leaking through the vents. I have not looked into repairing this.
Tires are good, no plugs or patches. The rears are 60% worn and fronts are 30% worn. The spare is well used but serviceable.
Fuel fill nozzle at the service station may be click off prematurely if the fuel is filled to fast. This only happens at some fuel pumps. The Fuel does not overflow or spill on to the ground. It was this way when I purchased this van.
Previous owner had serviced the transmission fluid on a regular basis. I have not done this since I have owned this van. The fluid is still full, clear and pink, and does not smell or leak.
I will be purchasing a full size 2WD van to replace the one. I have driven a van as a daily driver since 1968. If you have a van to trade in, let me know.
I am not interested in Sprinters or diesel vehicles.
