So people can truly understand what they might be bidding on, I copied the entire auction description for reference:

"2007 Sportsmobile 4x4 6.0 Diesel. Miles 113,985"

I will say there's photos of the original SMB paperwork detailing the original options.

Haha, quite the description! He had me at 4x4! [emoji849]

What a nightmare...Obviously not a lot of thought went into that Ad, or the consequences of being so vague.
Reminds me of several conference calls I've had the displeasure of being on, where a CLUELESS organizer sets up the call for 75+ participants and begins with "OK, who is on the call?"

I sent a message through ebay, asking some basic questions and for a contact number. No response in 24 hours.

Just had a great conversation with the owner...very forthright and personable individual.

Short version: He started the E-Bay Ad late one night expecting to go back in and adjust the Ad contents the next morning, but has not been able to edit his Ad in any way...so he's letting that Ad run its course. ***He may also be advertising it here soon.

Vehicle history:
**The pictures of the build sheets (on e-bay) pretty much outline the amenities.
**No bullet proofing, but regular oil changes and maintenance completed (with supporting documentation - dating back from the build). **Claims it runs great and has no fluid leaks.
**Espar airtronic hasn't been used in a long time - exhaust vent is bent closed, and he had never used it in the two years he's owned the Van .
**The roof solar panels are older, and need to be replaced.
**(He has considering fixing both, but hasn't pursued this yet).

Has only put 5K miles on in the 2 years hes owned it.

He claims the Van is in great condition.

If anyone has real interested in this Van, PM me and I'll share his phone number (note: He's expecting funds or financing to be figured out ahead of time, and he's certainly not desperate to sell)

Definitely a rental van as in $225/night, min two nights kind of deal. WSrentals. Sure I've seen this listed for rentals. Not saying that is so bad, but should be disclosed.

Doesn't look like the original ad was ever updated/reposted. Curious what he's actually trying to sell it for.
