2019 East Coast Rally Trip Report and Pictures

Just a great weekend. Weather cooperated and allowed for most of the scheduled Friday and Saturday activities to occur without soaking participants. Lots of fun had on the climbing, caving, and bike routes. A van load of folks journeyed over to the Trout Fest to enjoy a bit of Americana. Capped off Saturday with a stunning performance by the bluegrass band "Day Old News". The rain forced everyone inside but the jam continued well into the night. Everyone eventually gathered around the fire where the conversation and libations flowed.

Hope to get some more shots on this thread from the various activities. There are some really cool caving and Via Ferrata pics floating around.

Mark your calendars for next year. Will take place around the same time frame. Going to get the upper pasture open and add several activity offerings including fly fishing (hopefully a float trip) and a 4x4 vehicle trail run.

Lee, have to thank you again for all the effort in planning & organizing you put into this meet-up! We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the festivities as well as the camaraderie. Was fun to see the new participants, and catch up with those that attended last year.

An exploration day(s), including 4x4, would be welcome. The area is really beautiful.

On Monday, I headed to Dolly Sods at Felix's (TwoXentrix), including FR75 at Rich's (MontaniSepmerLiberi?), recommendations, about an hour from NROCKS. Amazing up there, about 4k feet. It would be a good place to include on a 4x4 trip although 4x4 isn't needed, just steep forest service roads getting up/down.

Epic Weekend

Thank you to everyone. Liam and I had a great time. Sorry I have been lagging on posting anything....this is the first weekend I have been home since we got back.

I know that I owe some pictures because there was not a lot of picture taking in the cave. I will try not to post any pics that I have already seen posted.

Thank you again Lee for putting all this together again.....and saving us on the epic MTB ride...lol.
