37 feet of Gnar

Sorry, I'm in 'think big-n-strong mode' this week...

I just spent the better part of the day working on my Ruenel bumper project (salvaged from my F350) that I'm modifying to fit the van... it's integral receiver hitch needs to be capable of towing 10k lbs and support 500lbs+ tongue weight. Swing aways, too

Reunel states their built-in receiver is rated for 20,000 pound towing and 6,000 pounds tongue weight.

The key for you is the bumper/frame interface. Even Reunel could do better. Look at how and Class-5 Hitch receiver attaches and try to mimic that.

The stock Reunel mounts bent on mine. I did have 6,000# trailer hooked to the ball on a hitch rack carrying another 600 pounds which was plugged into a 8" hitch receiver (required for dry boxes to clear the carriers), and the bumper brackets bent when I hit a recently constructed water bar at ~50 MPH, which sent the van airborne and into a pretty rough landing. If think the Reunel had larger frame mounts, it would not have bent. I've done worse things with my prior Class-5 hidden hitch.

Man, you drive your van like a rally car!
