Have a 2014 econoline sportsmobile with a factory installed air compressor and tank. I can’t find any coupler connections to attach my air hose. Any suggestions on where to look for them? Thank you for any advice.

Factory installed air compressor? I would really like to see a picture of that.

You are saying there are no fittings to actually attach an air hose to? I wonder if this compressor is for air bags??

Share more please.

Mine was hidden inside the water hookup behind the little door. It was installed along with airbags at some point. There was also a connector right next the compressor just inside the pinch seam at the bottom of the body.

Okay, not Ford installed.

If it is a single cylinder air compressor with a small tank it may be solely for the lockers. The single cyl ARB is pretty light for airing up tires.

None the less, you can trace the air lines from the compressor to the tank and also the differentials. No tee = no other air.

The ARB compressors are marginal for lockers, which are very low use items. Even the dual compressors are pretty pathetic for anything other than emergency use.

Check the compressor for an additional fitting, or a fitting on the tank.
I doubt it would be anywhere else.

I sold ARB's for years, and I've owned several. Every one I've owned I had to replace the ARB compressor. I usually add another compressor for main use (viair 500-ish is a good budget, low use starting point) and only have the ARB compressor as an emergency backup for the lockers only.

Thats interesting, my ARB dual compressor has been in service for years and airs up my 33 inch tires just fine after they have been aired down. I wonder if i just got lucky?

Maybe they've redesigned the duals for heavier duty use. When I was selling them they were just 2 normal arms. Now they at least have a heat sink on them.
