Aluminess no longer sells the older style shovel/axe mount that they used to. Only the newer Dmos? stuff which I don't care for.

Anyone have the older style mount they might sell? I have the shovel/axe already but might be interested in the package if available.

Thanks

Rugged Ridge has a version; It's billed as a "spare Tire tool rack", but suspect it would just as easily be attached to the side of rear box - maybe even enough space between the rear of the van and the box (or Tire swing arm) to mount it.
I liked the unit because it has a bar at the end which the weight of the axe head and shovel can rest on. The negative I can see is it doesn't seem to have a method to secure the axe/shovel to protect from theft, but you're creative enough to devise a solution.

EDIT: This is creative Eric...in a way more versatile that the other rack we discussed weeks ago;

Cool stuff, thanks Felix. After I posted this earlier today I did find a few other options online similar to the Rugged Ridge one above. I just mounted my Aluminess bumpers and am in the process of figuring out all my add-ons and where they will fit.

Unfortunately a tray like that one won't fit because I got the right side bike rack attachment on my bumper and they come all the way across over the tire. I'll post some pics soon of what I've worked out so far.

Thanks
