Hey guys, will a dualsport (CRF 250L) fit on a hitch carrier with the aluminess bumper and 33" tire, and box? I cant seem to find the answer or a photo.

You will need a hitch extension to put the rack far enough back to clear. I did that with my WR250 but it was kind of wobbly. You would also need some chains/straps to help steady the rack to cut down on sway. No, I never took photos of the setup and sold that bike

Not quite the same as what you're asking, but I regularly carry my dualsports (and dirtbikes) on a hitch carrier with an Aluminess swing out with a 35" tire on it. I did weld an extension on my carrier (AMC400) to push it out ~7" and most of my bikes clear just fine with the front tire towards the driver's side. The ones that don't clear that direction due to giant fuel tanks, or the handlebars contacting the spare tire, generally fit fine if I put them on the rack with the front tire towards the passenger side. I've used a few different anti-wobble devices over the years and have had the best success with the square u-bolt type that have a round bar instead of a flat plate to clamp it down: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...MIhKLWg9DFiAMVMg2tBh2bFh03EAQYHiABEgJhxfD_BwE I'm too dumb to post pictures, but I do have one of my CRF450RL (close enough in size to your WR250R) on my phone that I could send you via text if you wanted to message me your number.

No problems with my KTM and a Harbor freight rack with a short hitch extender. I rest the right handlebar on a block on top of the tire, run ratchet straps from the upright Aluminess bars to the left handlebar and another from the right upright over the seat to the left foot peg. The rear tire gets a strap around the tire and the rack to prevent bouncing. Its solid as a rock.

Curt extension

I have carried my 2008 KTM 530 EXCR on the back but I went to e trailer. Com and got a 18 inch heavy duty extension for it. The extension is 18 off the junction but it's got an additional 6 inches that go into the hitch. 350# Tongue weight. It works.
