i put a set of those on about 2 yrs ago, and have to say they are made very stout. For me, they come in very handy while driving as I have cube PIAA's positioned to illuminate each side of the road to help spot kamikaze wildlife.

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed with the quality of them.
I'm going with the Baja Design lights in the pic.
A little smaller than your Piaa's but the same idea.
I have "ditch lights" on my Landcruiser and they definitely serve a purpose on back roads and on the trail.
My lights show up tomorrow, so I have a pretty good idea what Saturday morning is going to involve, though I won't be able to get them wired yet, as I'm redoing all the accessory switching in the cab and moving the lighting switch's from the SMB standard of in front of your left knee to an overhead console mounted Switchpros panel, thst hasn't arrived yet either...
