Hi there folks.

I'm the proud new owner of a 2003 E350 EB Advanced 4x4 former shuttle van. I'm basically doing a complete rebuild from seals to tires and realizing that I might as well change the brake lines while i'm in there.

Does anyone have a suggestion or source for the rigid brake lines that run from engine to rear and then again across the rear diff? I can't find anything at rockauto or summit racing. I have all the rubber hoses, just need the rigid lines.

Thanks!

My mechanic made the rear diff one up by hand using the old one as a template, with bulk tubing and fittings. Will do the same for the full-length one when I get to that. But I think the gas tank has to be dropped to get access to it.

I highly recommend this as I had to replace this rear hardline in an autozone parking lot at 10:30pm a couple weeks ago as the factory rear hardline ruptured (due to rust) as we were coming into Santa Fe. I’m going to redo all my brake lines when I get home.

Yep, a good mechanic shop can make them for you. Not your Firestone/tire store type place, a real mechanic that smokes and swears and scares you. He's your guy.

I've made my own... laying on the cold concrete, in December, at night, GF holding the flashlight, hoping to leave the next morning for Death Valley
