Coil packs and plugs

Impossible to reach without removal. Had to loosen 4 motor mounts to loosen compressor mount and remove.

With and 06 from vermont with only 100k, if the ac worked fine before, just replace evaporator and hose have it evacuated and refilled and drive...
I once replaced a compressor with a bit more mileage in mexico "since I was dealing with a leak", found a really good shop, and the compressor made no difference....another 06.....

So - thinking about getting a set of V10 coil packs - boots - etc., for my 2002 E350 -- can any body confirm part numbers, etc., to order the BEST brand for all parts ? I'm a
"newby" when it comes to ordering _hit online ! Best/cheapest place to go for OEM parts !?

Unless you have a DTC indicating one or more of your COP's has failed there's no performance improvement to be had simply by replacing them all. The plug boots and internal springs should be inspected for age-related problems but keep the existing COP's already installed. NAPA has nice boots for about $6-7 each, Belden IIRC.

FWIW I run a 2000 E-250 with 5.4 @ 310,000 miles with at least five original COP's, on it's third set of Motorcraft plugs and boots

Use Motorcraft plugs, a bit of nickel-based anti-seize on the plug threads and a dab of dielectric crease to prevent water/moisture seeping between the spark plug electrodes and wiring harness connectors.

Do be sure to torque the plugs at about 27 ft/lbs with a torque wrench for best results.
