Hey folks,
I've been a member for a while, but mostly just a dreamer. I have a 89 e150 that I'm converting into a camper van. Just purchased a 88 with a penthouse. Plan on searching the threads for tips and tricks on switching the top over to my van. Based out of Central Florida.

There's a thread on that around here somewhere. Guy built a four-poster frame to lift the surgically removed top from the old to put on the new.

There’s numerous threads from members that have done similar projects. Boywonder, andrewst, and benjj all come to mind as members here that completed penthouse swaps, but I’m sure there’s others you could find with some searching.

Just kidding, it’s not hard, but you might need a friend. Bunch of us have done it, boywonder has the best thread on it.
