Desperate!

the easiest approach is to start with a Canadian van and have it converted; there should be no import involved. just drive it back home.

So many better options these days. So many van converters. Google is your friend. Look past Sportsmobile.

:b5:

I’ve brought many vehicles into Canada including a Sporty.

Once they’re over 15 years old there is no issue.

Sportsmobile never opted to become a manufacturer recognized by the government. Too much paper work I guess.

Less than 15 yo it has to be from a recognized manufacturer.

Go to riv.ca for the rules on the newer stuff. Sportys weren’t there when I last checked.

PM if you want help.

You’ve asked that question three times now. Notice that the members who have tried to help you have a combined 16K+ posts. You might conclude they’re fairly active here and fairly knowledgeable. Maybe no one in Canada does penthouse tops? Or maybe you could start a new thread with a less vague title? Something like, “Do any Canadian companies do penthouse tops?” You might also reach out to Clydesdale Vans in BC. They’re super helpful and might know someone who does them.

Sorry guys, I'm a computer Luddite. I'm the original owner of a 2002 E350 Westy style camper that Clydesdale converted to 4x4. Lots of winter driving is rusting things out badly. So I have to come up with a solution to keep on keeping on. Thanks for your patience!

You can also order a Colorado Camper Van Top and have it trucked to you for install in Canada. CCV pop tops have been shipped to many countries for DIY install.

What are CCV tops?
