Does anyone have experience with a reman engine from go-powertrain.com?

Looking for any experience/reviews of reman engines from go-powertrain.com out of Virginia.

I ask as I am in talks with a seller who has a E350 with a remanned unit from go-powertrain. The van is very clean and is the later model V10/5r110 combo. The seller’s story is the head gasket blew, so he replaced the entire engine with a remanned unit from go-powertrain - he selected their premium option, which is a completely rebuilt unit minus the intake manifold. The owner also purchased a 5-year unlimited (I think) mile warranty which still has a couple years left and is transferable. The new engine has very low miles. The reason for the sale is the seller purchased a new Transit.

Any insight would be appreciated. I chatted via phone with one of the reps from go-powertrain and he seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. I’m simply looking for any experience from the crew here on the SMB forum as I am not familiar with this vendor.

FWIW I have a 1993 E250 based SMB. I replaced the original 5.4L Windsor engine with a reman 5.4L from Jasper. The engine has been in the vehicle for 2 years and has 4,900 miles on it. I've been very happy with it. YMMV.

Thanks, Billy. I did some more digging on the van in question and reached out to go-powertrain once I had the VIN. Lou at go-powertrain was awesome to work with. He pulled the info on the replacement V10 that was purchased and confirmed that it was the block only (no accessories). Due to this and some other factors, I passed on the van.
