Cool. Looks good.

That is larger than most vans I believe. Mine is a RB with about 61 liters.

Silly question, you are putting the tank in the very back, seems like a lot of weight back there? I assume you have considered the weights of everything when deciding placement in the van.

Vincent, many of the Sportsmobile’s have a tank holding ruffly 38 to 48 gallons - depending on the ‘build’ (about 144 to 180+ liters).
When you calculate MPG on a 4x4 Van weighing (again depending on the extent of your build) around 9,000+ lbs your fuel mileage probably will not exceed 14mpg (taking into consideration type of terrane, you could be closer to 10mpg). The size of your tank becomes the yardstick for the travel distance you envision.

EDIT: I believe I may overlooked your intent; Are you leaving the original fuel tank in place and fabricating an auxiliary tank so you have more available fuel?

Are we looking at a water tank or fuel tank? I think it is water?

Quite a few concerns about location, size, loss of capacity, and filling/inspection/cleaning.

For water : 20 us gal /75L of fixed tankage is usually sufficient for two people for almost a week if careful. This fixed tankage then supplemented with additional capacity in removable containers or even another tank under/below w a transfer pump for use in non freezing seasons .

Hello everyone and happy new year :l2:to you the project continues
yes the tank seen well on the back I don't think it changes much for me to put it on the front and it's not placed as I wanted so it stays on the back the furniture also advances I would only have to cut the doors

Allez, quelle photo de l’avancement, même si j’ai mon problème de démarrage moteurhttps://www.sportsmobileforum.com/threads/power-stroke-7-3.764430/page-3#post-10977830, la finition prend du temps et de la patience.

Quick question: do you have any solutions to avoid engine noise as much as possible? Should the engine compartment be insulated more?
