Hi all!

Been lurking around for a year since I got the van bug in OR after spending 8 days tooling around the state in a 4x4 SMB. I don't yet own a van, but hope to land one here in the next month or so. Can't wait!

There is a wealth of info on this forum. Grateful to have access to a great community. :b5:

Seal - Apologize, have had numerous exchanges at the Home Depot - get it a lot anywhere we go out here since these machines are a little unique, so we'll have to re-connect sometime (PM me if you're out this way). Its all good, i dident expect you to remember. Not much progress on my build, I travel a lot for work with the van so I have yet to find a good time to take it out of commission.

Not that I dont remember, just not sure which engagement it was - pretty confident I would recognize you if we met. Reach out if your back this direction. Sorry, I avoid the Northern Virginia/DC area - traffic is simply a disaster...all the time.

Welcome bro. Maybe we can setup a local meet and greet once you get your rig. I've only met one more 4x4 van owner in the area, only bc I bought a ladder from the dude. Would be nice to share a couple cold ones w/ some locals. Didn't get a chance to make the East Coast gathering this year.

Congrats - I'm sure the drive back was exhilarating. I know Mike takes no shortcuts, so whatever improvements he's made prior to the sale will only compliment your investment. Looking forward to seeing the Van, and gladly provide assistance in maxing out your cards.

I admit that I do miss it already, but it is at a great home now! Twoxentrix will surely help you become broke with all the accessories and gadgets that you can add!

Thanks for the warning! For now we want to get to know the rig well and have a few trips under our belt before we decide on any major mods. Right now we are having all of the fluids flushed to start fresh and a few other things done for peace of mind. An exterior shower may be the first add, or solar, or.....here we go!
