FE350 or EF350 ?

Goes better with the Ford bed IMO :b5:

(I have F-series rear fenders on my van, and the lines match up pretty well).

Yep, I've seen the Quadvan one before, and it makes much more sense to me with the extra seating behind the first row. Going to all the expense to enclose a cut-away and add a pickup truck bed, as opposed to just buying a pickup in the first place, doesn't make any sense to me.

I do like unique vehicles though.

Well for one used ambulance chassis are dirt cheap. Especially with the 6.0. I've seen them going for anywhere from $1500-$4500 depending on mileage.

Also, you still get the footprint advantages of a van.... I.e. 3' less overall vehicle length for the equivalent cab and bed size. And the 55-gallon tank would be pretty nice too.

Plus 3x the fun to work on the engine... :a6:

It really needs a slide in truck camper to make it completely absurd. But with the price of pickups, it could be an niche 5th wheel market to flip them with pickup beds. I'm with Herb, kind of like it.
