We may be on the East Coast in our new rig come late '26. If we are, I buy the beer!
We're really gunna miss our SMB. We had it for 4 years and camped out of it for 6 to 7 months every year. What an experience... We didn't see this coming, how much we liked it, and how many friends we have made along the way.
We always thought the SMB would be like our backpacking trips. A week here and there. And now that we're working less, heck, maybe a whole 2 or 3 weeks out on the road.
We got a little carried away...
Sooo...
We are putting together a Bliss Mobil unit so we can stay out longer in a more livable rig. Bec and I are super excited!
Found an Isuzu FTR, it's now converted to 4X4, and in storage in CO, waiting for the 15' Bliss to be completed towards the end of the year.
The thinking is we'll explore North America for 4 to 6 years, focus on long travel to Alaska, throughout Canada, and the East and Southern US...then downsize again to an easier to deal with van.
