Ford van owners have suffered with poor lighting long enough! I am now offering completed HID projector headlight retrofits for those of you with the 92-07 Ford E-Series vans. These are the style shown in the photos below and will replace the factory composite or sealed beam assemblies. With a 35w H1 HID bulb kit and relay pack (cheap, but not provided with the lights for liability reasons) you will get very good light output that has true bixenon (hi/low beam) capability and an updated look to the factory front end. Pricing is set at $250 shipped for one set of lights ready for your HID kit and installation. If you have a 2008-up van we can talk about the same process for those as well. Contact me with any questions and more info.

Any chance you've got any side by side pics from the front showing the HID vs. normal?

I have this one when I installed a set on my personal van. I also included an action shot during regular use with the low beams on.

Had installed that HID Retrofit Source kit on VivaLaVida and I can confirm that it's really better than stock headlights. It's bright, wide and even. Really worth to do. :d5:

This is the black version with the LED daytime running lights. $280 shipped.

I currently have the commercial style sealed beam headlights. Are these composite headlights a direct replacement? Will it be necessary to make any modifications to the headlight panel or will i need to source any additional parts when converting from sealed beam to composite?

As long as you have the 1992 and newer body style these lights will replace the stock sealed beam units with no problems. They come with the securing clips and H4-9007 adapter harness you need to make the wiring work properly. These are an incredible upgrade to the sealed beam lights and make your driving experience much more enjoyable. I have a set in chrome that are ready to ship asap if you are interested. Send me an email to Stredbull18@gmail.com to work out the details.

Don't you need to replace the grill and other pieces behind the grill?

Nope, the original header panel comes prepped from Ford to be compatible with both versions. If you are concerned and want confirmation, post a photo here and we will have a look.

Can you provide a link to the proper HID kit? There are so many, it's a bit confusing. Thanks................

I would avoid the $20 kits on ebay and the like because the ballasts are usually inferior and don't put out the power needed to fully ignite the bulbs. The results are low light output and blue tinted lights. I bought a set and I threw them away.

I bought these morimoto bulbs... http://www.theretrofitsource.com/compon ... OizeihwFUQ

and ended up with these ballasts... They are bigger, but they are solid and work great. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00301 ... UTF8&psc=1 (the standard 35 watt ballasts).

You can use any 35 watt H1 HID kit with these lights I provide. If you choose the Morimoto items, you will pay a ton of money (5x more) for more or less the same thing. I have had very good luck with the budget HID kits. When combined with the proper bixenon relay harness they have no problems lighting up and not flickering. I have had good experiences with the following items and I recommend them for those interested in keeping a tight budget:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/171221706222?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-H1-HID- ... 266wt_1362

One thing to consider, the higher the color temperature of the bulb (bluer looking) the less available output this setup will provide. The 4300K bulbs offer the most output and are a nice white color compared to the stock halogen bulbs.

Can you get a projector HID kit the newer front lights 2008-2014 Ford e350?

I can do the projector retrofit on the newer lights but the cost will be in the $600 range as the lights are very pricey. If anyone is interested in these, send me an email and we can talk.
