Ford E-Series Van HID Projector Retrofit lights

What they said....

I'll chime in here to echo what others have said: For the money, this is the best upgrade you can make to your van. The difference is incredible. I went from hating nighttime driving to enjoying it. The quality of light is incredible. With the high beams on I can't imagine needing auxiliary lighting(at least with my current suspension:).

Thanks for the kind words Brian. Your van turned out great!

More work out the door and stock on hand to build what you need. Check out the website for pricing and options. If you have a specific combo you are interested in and would like a picture of, shoot me an email and I will dig one up for you. Don't wait for the time change to upgrade as I expect parts to run thin like they did last year.

so these also get rid of that plastic part around the lights as well, correct? My van is below for reference.

Two options...

1. We have replacement retrofits for what you have now (7x6 sealed beams)

2. All of the sealed beam versions from 92-07 can be converted to the composite style I mostly show.

Note- The output for the two variations is identical since they use the same projectors and bulbs.

I have both combinations in stock and ready to build asap!

Check them out on the website below

^^^ nope that's a sealed beam setup. most his lights are replacement for the composite lights. he does offer replacements for sealed beam vans though. check his site ;)

to convert to composite style, or redovals lights youll need, harness pigtails (which iirc he supplies, please correct me if ive misspoken), and headlight bucket (piece behind headlights/grill that holds all of it into place) from a salvage yard. its a plug and play kinda deal putting 1995 stuff on my 2003. i did see a difference in how the grills mounted between the years. not sure what year grills will fit on what year headlight buckets.

EDIT: Scotts lighting fast! soooooo repost!!

scott, quick question. do any of the aftermarket lights not have the spot for the led bar and just have a wide open bucket/socket for the bulb like the oem lights?

Slight correction here.....

I sell both sealed beam and composite light sets. Both sets are bolt in replacements for the respective stock setups. The sealed beam to composite conversion is extremely simple....remove the plastic sealed beam shroud, lights, and buckets. Install the provided quick release clips and harness with the provided 9007 to H4 adapter and you are up and running with the composite setup. The composite sets come with matching turn signal housings as well whereas that is an upgrade for the sealed beam retrofits. The sealed beam versions require time on a lathe and about twice as much labor so we omit the corners to keep the prices reasonable. I can provide them as an upgrade for sure.

In summary, there are NO trips to a junkyard to make the swap from sealed beam to composite.

Shenrie,
They do have open style buckets, but they are only available in chrome and would need to be painted if one were interested in the black/chrome versions. If this is something you want, please contact me and we can work it out....I am quite flexible with this stuff!

sorry, I should have been more clear. I mentioned the option on how to swap to composite if he so desired. not that it was mandatory to utilize your products. my apologies...ill just shut my big fat mouf :(

are these the lights you speak of?

either way, can you post a photo (or pm me one if youd like to cut down clutter here) of the enclosure with no led bar (or area for one)? for these upgrades is it necessary to have the chrome bucket for lighting output? in other words, is there a way an all blackout model with no chrome bucket can be made?

Yes, those are the ones that can be done. They can be left chrome or painted black. The reflector is no longer utilized with a projector retrofit setup so it can be non-reflective. The work to either type of light housing is the same on my end regardless of the style chosen. I am happy to keep this conversation in this thread since it is likely interesting to other people as well!

Teaser build shot of some GM lights we are working on for the Weldtec-Designs SEMA build. More photos to come once the setup is finalized, stay tuned! We are looking to add these retrofits to the site asap so the GM crew can have both composite (shown) and sealed beam retro (currently available) options available.
