Ford Red touchup paint (where)?

I've got one of the custom "fire engine" Ford SMBs. The ext paint code on the door jamb is W4650. I've talked to a few local Ford parts departments (including S&C Ford where SMB-West buys our vans) and no one believes the paint code I'm giving them.

So my question is how can I get touchup paint for my van?

Ditto, I also tried to get some touch up for my Red SMB and the local dealer didnt have anything which matched any of the #'s on the door jamb sticker.

Anyone have an idea???

It's my understanding that the red is Coca Cola red, the same as the Coca Cola delivery trucks (which include Ford vans). Not sure if that would help or not with a local Ford dealer.

I also have a red van, but thankfully haven't needed touch-up paint. I will be very curious though if you are able to track down the paint or not, so please post back if you have success, or not.

You might call Jay Minto who sells SMB Fresno their vans. He was with S&C Ford but it now with Towne Ford (650/562-2225). He would know for sure and can most likely have his parts department get it for you.

Every van (or Ford for that matter) should have the paint code right above the Vin number on the door sticker. Walmart also carries the touchup paint for about half the price of the dealer.
