How do you like the front mounted spare? Do you notice it affecting handling or compression and rebound off-road?

I not only love it I think it is essential if you're off by yourself in the middle of nowhere. If you have one spare and get one flat, in my opinion, you need to head home or find a tire shop asap. Two spares and you can keep going.

I had no handling problems driving with the front mounted spare. I was concerned about overheating but nothing. Makes accessing the compressor an arm-twister but not a serious issue.

One trip in Death Valley before I drove with two spares, I got a flat and swapped on my spare. Then, as I was driving along in a line of jeeps with 33" tires I realized that not one of them would fit my Sportsmobile - our wheels are a bit hard to find off road. So, from my POV, just another reason to travel with two spares.

Some more/better pics....
